Your Child's Day

Frequently Asked Questions about your child’s day!

How do you keep parents informed about their child’s day?

We know how meaningful it is for parents to feel connected to their child’s day. That’s why we use a top-rated app that allows teachers to share updates on daily activities, routines, and special moments. You’ll receive real-time notifications, photos, and messages—giving you a glimpse into your child’s experiences as they happen. Parents can also message the classroom team directly through the app, and of course, you’re always welcome to call or stop by the school any time to check in.

Will my child go outside every day at Strong Start?

Absolutely, yes! Outdoor play is a vital part of our daily routine at Strong Start. Each location has a beautiful, naturalistic playground designed specifically for young children, with large, open spaces and padded areas where they can safely ride bikes, climb, explore, and enjoy being active. Children go outside twice a day—morning and afternoon—weather permitting. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, no worries! We make full use of our spacious indoor gym, so children can still move their bodies, stay active, and have fun even on rainy or cold days.

At Strong Start, our Toddler, Bridge, and Preschool programs follow a consistent and engaging daily schedule. Children participate in activities such as group meetings, literacy experiences, hands-on investigations (commonly referred to as “centers” in many other programs), and outdoor play. These routines create a sense of structure and comfort, helping each day run smoothly for your child.

In our Infant Program, we honor each child’s unique rhythm by following an individualized schedule developed in collaboration with their family. This personalized approach ensures that even our youngest learners feel secure and supported.
