Daisy
Daisy is the Director of Strong Start Trumbull, where she brings over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and center leadership. Throughout her career, Daisy has overseen all aspects of school operations, including curriculum development, teacher mentorship, family engagement, and center growth. She is passionate about creating nurturing, high-quality learning environments where both children and educators can thrive. Daisy is known for her warm, collaborative leadership style and her ability to build strong, supportive relationships with families and staff. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Hunter College.
Daisy is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and education, ensuring that every child at Strong Start Trumbull receives the strong foundation they deserve.

Wilton Infant Program

Wilton Toddler Program
At Strong Start Wilton, our Toddler Program welcomes your child into a vibrant community where curiosity and independence are encouraged every single day. Building on the trusted foundation of our Infant Program, the Wilton toddler classroom is designed to feel both inspiring and reassuring; a place where young children can confidently step into a wider world of play, discovery, and connection.
Our educators in Wilton follow an inquiry-based approach, tuning in to each toddler’s interests and using these sparks of curiosity to co-create meaningful learning experiences. Whether it’s exploring language, practicing new movements, or learning how to be a friend, our teachers are there to nurture every milestone. Bridge Classrooms (2-3 Year Olds)
Our Bridge Program is specially crafted for energetic, curious two- and three-year-olds who are eager to dig deeper and discover more about their world. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and thoughtfully aligned with Connecticut’s Early Learning and Development Standards, our Wilton Bridge classroom offers a welcoming space where play and inquiry go hand in hand.
Teachers here listen; following each child’s unique interests and weaving in the Project Approach to create hands-on, collaborative learning adventures that spark joy and wonder. With natural materials and open-ended activities all around, your child will have countless opportunities to create, experiment, and problem-solve in their own way.

Wilton Pre-School Program
Strong Start Wilton’s Preschool Program is thoughtfully designed to nurture the remarkable growth that takes place between ages three and five. Wilton Enrichment Program
At Strong Start Wilton, our enrichment programs are designed to spark excitement and support the whole child.
Through FitKids, little ones discover the joy of movement and healthy habits with fun activities like dance, yoga, and beginner sports.
In our Budding Bakers & Little Cooks classes, children roll up their sleeves to explore the wonders of cooking; gaining early math skills, coordination, and a love for wholesome food along the way.
With Exploration Through the Arts, creativity takes center stage as children express themselves through music, art, and imaginative play, building confidence and a lasting appreciation for the arts.

Our center features secure, controlled access with fingerprint and key fob entry, as well as 24/7 video surveillance in all classrooms and common areas. Only authorized individuals can pick up your child, and every visitor is verified at the door.
We’ve installed discreet panic buttons throughout our building to ensure rapid response in emergencies. Our staff is thoroughly background-checked, trained in first aid, and up-to-date on emergency protocols; including evacuation and lockdown procedures.
Classrooms, play areas, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day using non-toxic, child-safe products. With these layers of protection, you can trust that your child is learning and growing in a safe, healthy environment every day at Strong Start Wilton.
